User-provided data: When you use our app, you can create or add friends by providing their names. Avatars are automatically generated by our service as random colorful icons matching the app style. This data is stored locally in the app to help you manage your contacts.

Receipt images: You upload photos of your receipts (bills). These images are processed by our app to scan and recognize the items and amounts. Receipt images may be processed temporarily by third-party OCR services (such as Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence or Togather.AI) to extract text. These providers process the data solely to provide OCR functionality and do not retain or use the data for any other purpose. We do not store these images on our servers; they remain only on your device.

Usage data: To improve app performance, we may collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., app crashes, features used). We use Google Firebase/Crashlytics for anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring. This data does not identify you personally.

• You cannot delete friends from your saved contacts, but you can remove them from individual receipts (checks) when splitting bills.

• All data related to friends and receipts is stored only on your device.

• We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or loss.
